IFAF National Championships.

This weekend over two days the IFAF National Championships took place in Woodville House, New Ross, Co. Wexford, hosted by Wexford Archery.

Swedish Open Field Championships- the final round up.

After two days of glorious weather, the day of the Elimination rounds and Finals started chilly but dry, then it got windy and started to rain heavily with the temperature at 6-7 degrees.

The Elimination rounds took the top 16 finishers in each category and had them shoot a smaller course to reduce their numbers to four which then shot off for the final four places...

Swedish Open Field Championships 2015.

This years Swedish Open Field Championship is being held on the island of Little Bratton, near Gothenburg.  It’s a very scenic place with views of the archipelago in all directions.

The island can only be reached with as short 5 minute ferry or boat trip.  The ferry leaves from a small harbour on the bigger  island Tjörn (which is connected to the mainland with a bridge)...

Day two of the Irish Open Field Championships.


The rain had stopped at 5.00 am; the gates opened at 8.30 am. The ground crew had re-arranged the targets  and made adjustments to the course to ease the effects of over thirty hours of continuous rain. So when we went back out the course was no worse to traverse than it had been the previous day while in the worst areas the new steps and changed paths were appreciated.
