The fourth Archer of the Year is on the 22th April.

Rules are based on the FITA 18 format: Each monthly competition will consist 10 ends of 3 arrows. You start at 10m distance with 60cm sized targets and you move up distances when you score 220 or more. The distances are 15m, 18m with 60cm targets, 18cm with 40cm targets and finally the 18cm with 20cm targets (often referred to as the “bunnies”). If you’re good enough to get 250 or more on the “bunnies”, you’ll move into the Elite category.

You need to shoot at least five competitions throughout the year and the total of your top five scores are your scores for the league and determine your place in your category. Your category is based on age (junior, cadet, senior and master), bow type (instinctive, barebow, recurve and compound) and gender (men and women).

Please turn up at 7pm to help with setup so we can start the competition sooner! Thanks.
